RE: The Derp Thread - shadow_strike - 29-10-2014 08:29 PM Basically told my mom that if she didn't transfer to a store that is 30 minutes away (on google maps, it's actually a lot longer when you take in to account traffic) that she'll be demoted/be forced to quit (mom refuses to quit, so she'll be fired and then she can go in and get unemployment). My mom is friends with the person in charge of the store further, but unless she gets a bit of a raise to comp. for gas mileage, my mom isn't going to go. She's pissed off because the person who was suppose to go bitched enough to the boss at my moms store that he has a shitty car, he can't afford it, etc. He's also the golden boy even though he doesn't know how to do anything. My mom is kinda thinking about going to the new store now, because she's really the only one that does work there, so if she leaves, the store will fall apart. They're also not making what they're suppose to make, and my mom is really the only one that pushes them to do it, since the other managers (including the boss) do not give a fuck. And if my mom leaves, she leaves in just enough time to miss management come in and yell at everyone for putting the store in such a bad place (not making the amount of money they're suppose to make in a day, getting enough people to get sign up for their credit card, etc). And she'll stop being screwed by the other managers because my mom always gets the fucked up schedule. My mom is literally so done at this point. She might just leave to give a huge middle finger to the store and enjoy as they go under. EDIT: omg the boss said my mom doesn't have to go. holy shit what RE: The Derp Thread - Rosenthal - 30-10-2014 02:52 AM VICTORY! RE: The Derp Thread - Nogardeci - 30-10-2014 11:32 PM Did the marshmallow challenge at uni today. Was actually fun and everyone enjoyed it. Scored 2nd place, losing by 0.8 cm. Still got marshmallows though! I warmly recommend the challenge to everyone at least once, especially if you want to strengthen/start some friendships. In other news: this week has been absolutely exhausting but rewarding. Passed all the numerical tests for banks so far. RE: The Derp Thread - shadow_strike - 31-10-2014 03:04 AM Is the marshmallow challenge "chubby bunny"? RE: The Derp Thread - Yurlyn - 31-10-2014 03:14 AM No, it's this. I had to look it up too. I mean, how can you be second place second by a length measurement with Chubby Bunny?
RE: The Derp Thread - shadow_strike - 31-10-2014 03:55 AM I was too lazy to look it up, ty lol RE: The Derp Thread - Nogardeci - 31-10-2014 04:13 PM Finally weekend. I'm absolutely exhausted after those last days. We had a teacher from MIT this week, and he made the class a whole lot more enjoyable and fun than usual. Discussed God complexes, uses and misuses of threatening or intimating people and some other good stuff. Also: how to get extra credit, the Noga way. Some bragging included. Spoiler (Show) RE: The Derp Thread - WeAreNobody - 31-10-2014 06:16 PM Nogar my friend, you are brilliant. I love any act that shows smartassery to the teacher. RE: The Derp Thread - Razgriz - 31-10-2014 06:20 PM Hahah, oh God, dear Noga. Absolutely brilliant. xD RE: The Derp Thread - shadow_strike - 31-10-2014 07:32 PM Did you at least get to keep the dolphin after that display of brilliance? |
